Our team is a small group of unpaid professionals. We are attempting to recreate, in dogs, the sucess Stanford University had in 2018, [Sagiv-barfi I, Czerwinski DK, Levy S, Levy, R, et al. Eradication of spontaneous malignancy by local immunotherapy. Sci Transl Med. 2018;10(426)], where four different cancers were cured in mice. For us to do this we need donations to move the technology forward.
Donations – If you believe in what we are doing, please donate! All of your funds will go toward the manufacturing, testing and development of the vaccine. Before USDA Conditional Licensure and after trial approval, the vaccine will only be available in North Carolina and be on a first come, first serve basis.
Next Steps …
To make the vaccine available for purchase we need a Conditional License from the USDA. We are in the process of putting together our package that includes a pilot study along with a safety and efficacy trial.
Safety and Efficacy Trial
The safety and efficacy trial will take place in Eastern North Carolina and will be free to all participants. We should have enough vaccine for approximately for 120 participants. The pilot study will verify the manufacturing process is under control, and is to be immediately followed with a combined pivotal field efficacy and safety study for Conditional Licensure.
Risk
If your dog participates in this pilot study, there is a risk your dog may still die from cancer.
Our longest-lived dog has a mammary adenocarcinoma and has currently lived 2.7 years since she was diagnosed. Her owner says “she acts like a puppy”.
